Bringing creativity and expertise to every shoot.
Over the past several years, I've had the opportunity to create a wide range of photo and video content for Orvis—from product-focused pieces and lifestyle imagery to campaign videos and digital advertising. As Orvis continues to expand its digital presence, I believe there's an opportunity to streamline creative production while maintaining a consistent, premium brand experience across every platform.
The following proposal (detailed below the work examples) outlines a monthly retainer partnership designed to provide Orvis with ongoing access to a full-stack media producer capable of planning, filming, editing, animating, and delivering high-performing creative assets for advertising, product pages, social media, and web content.
Proposal
Ongoing Video Advertising & Content Production Partnership: Lane Peters Multimedia + Orvis
Over the years, I've had the opportunity to create content for Orvis across a variety of campaigns and product categories. Through that work, I've developed a strong understanding of the brand, visual identity, customer base, and creative standards that make Orvis unique.
I'd like to propose establishing an ongoing monthly retainer relationship focused on video advertising production, creative development, and content optimization across Orvis' digital marketing ecosystem.
Objective
Provide Orvis with a dedicated, highly experienced media producer capable of creating, editing, and delivering a continuous stream of high-quality advertising and product-focused content while maintaining brand consistency across all customer touch points.
Scope of Work
The retainer would support ongoing production and post-production needs, including:
YouTube advertising campaigns
Traditional television advertising
Youtube TV ads
Instagram and Facebook video ads
Paid social creative variations and A/B testing assets
Website video content
Product Detail Page (PDP) videos
Product launch videos
Motion graphics and animated callouts
Web banners and motion-based digital assets
Brand storytelling content
Seasonal campaign updates
Creative repurposing of existing footage and assets
Versioning and optimization for multiple platforms and aspect ratios
The Advantage of a Full-Stack Media Producer
One of the biggest challenges brands face is maintaining creative consistency across multiple channels while coordinating between separate videographers, editors, designers, motion graphic artists, and agencies.
My approach combines all of these capabilities into a single workflow.
As a full-stack media producer, I handle:
Creative development
Production planning
Filming
Video editing
Motion graphics
Sound design
Color grading
Asset optimization for platform-specific delivery
This creates a streamlined process with fewer handoffs, faster turnaround times, and stronger brand continuity.
The result is a unified visual language across:
Website content
Product pages
Digital advertising
Social media campaigns
Motion banners
Video marketing assets
Having one creative partner overseeing these elements helps ensure that branding remains cohesive, premium, and recognizable throughout the customer journey.
Production Support
In addition to ongoing editing and creative development, I would be available for location-based production as needed.
To make the partnership as efficient as possible, I would offer a reduced filming day rate in conjunction with the monthly retainer, provided the retainer sufficiently covers the ongoing editing, creative development, and post-production workload.
A significant advantage is that I can operate independently for the majority of Orvis production needs. Historically, Orvis projects have not required me to bring assistants or additional crew, allowing for:
Lower production costs
Simplified scheduling
Greater flexibility
Faster deployment for field-based shoots
This makes it possible to capture high-quality branded content while keeping production overhead to a minimum.
Proposed Partnership Structure
A monthly retainer would provide Orvis with priority access to creative support and production resources throughout the year.
The retainer would include:
Ongoing editing and content creation
Motion graphics and animation
Ad creation and optimization
Platform-specific asset delivery
Creative consultation
Asset repurposing and campaign updates
Additional filming days would be billed at a reduced partner rate under the retainer agreement.
My initial proposal for an ongoing partnership would be $10,750 per month for an initial 12 month contract, and $950 per day to film on location.
I believe this cost brings substantial savings compared to having multiple parties contribute to the video and motion graphic needs of Orvis, while giving the maximum benefit of having a streamlined process.
Wrap Up
Orvis has built one of the most respected brands in the outdoor industry. My goal is to provide a scalable creative solution that delivers premium content efficiently while maintaining a consistent visual identity across every customer-facing channel.
I believe this partnership would allow Orvis to increase creative output, reduce production complexity, and maintain a high level of quality across advertising, web content, and product marketing initiatives.
I would love the opportunity to discuss a retainer structure that aligns with Orvis' creative goals and production needs for the coming year.
Thank you,
Lane Peters
